Yay! I so love having people over, it makes a lovely change to have a normal conversation, with actual adults! We have talked and laughed and drunk coffee and nibbled chocolate caramel pieces and bakewell tarts - as well as eaten pancakes.

The kids have also loved having some friends to play with. I think they get a little bored when it's just me and them.
The picture above is my niece Rachel, and her boyfriend Owen. This was taken at her birthday meal at Mex Cantina in Wakefield.

Anyway, it has been a thoroughly enjoyable evening and I hope to repeat it numerous times in the future.

Thank you for reading, it is most appreciated!

Well, I keep coming back and adding bits and changing bits. Doing it this way means I'm not sat here all day trying to make it perfect, because I don't need it to be perfect really - I'm not a perfect person, in fact I think I'm perfectly average.

I was just thinking about my house.
My house is a typical first time buyers property, with a very good sized garden. I don't have a fancy kitchen with a fancy cooker or a fancy centre island. I just have a kitchen, with an oven and hob. I'll take a picture one day and show you.
I don't have an expensive mixer, in fact the one I do have came from eBay - brand new but seller refurbished, it does the job and I love it! Me, Sophie and perhaps Rio too are baking this afternoon, if I get the time. We intend to bake soft cookies, maybe I'll take pictures and show you those too.

Before any baking can happen however we have a garden to clean up. Our dalmatian, Alaska, has started to shred the padding from the kids' trampoline and the entire garden is covered in white foamy bits. The grass also needs cutting but I don't have a lawnmower.
My niece, Rachel is coming up later with her boyfriend and a friends children Saihou and Aysha who are here visiting from Edinburgh. I'm looking forward to it, I miss adult conversation since I stopped working.

We'll have a coffee, and a bite to eat, and more coffee. And some soft cookies if I manage to bake them...

I'd better go, because I've also got a ton of tidying up to do and a mountain of washing stacked by the washer. The Sky technician is coming tomorrow to fit Sky3D, and possibly my father in law may visit later to affix our new 3D tv to the wall. If it will fit. Doubtful.

So I'd really better go.

Thank you for reading.
Lots of Love,

Well this is day 2 of building this website and I have today added some photographs of my family.

I think I'll need to just do a little like this each day - or at least when I can - in order to really build up the content.

I wish I knew what I'm really trying to achieve by setting this up - I'm just sort of stumbling through it. To me it's inspiring to see but I'd like to know what others think of it.

So please do get in touch,

Lots of Love

For anyone reading this, please please bear with me whilst I figure out exactly what it is I'm trying to do.

Because I honestly created this website on a whim, so I'm trying to catch up with myself...

Hence the 'coming soon...' title on every page.

I'm sorry, I'm a bit of a carpe diem kinda girl I guess.
